Coilovers for 370z ?
Are Megan coilovers for a nismo 370z good ?
which are good coilovers with a good price not to expensive ? |
I don't have any first hand experience with Megan products, but they seem to be shunned on this forum.
I use BC br coilovers. So far no complaints, have had them for about 5-6k miles. 30 levels of dampening adjustments, so you can have it set to ride as firm as the stock Nismo set up, or not as harsh. They aren't too terribly expensive either. |
Thanks man

I'm not sure how objective people can be with coil overs. Generally people are happy with the purchases that they make (from a psychological standpoint if you spent money on something you are more likely to defend it against nay-sayers or other products; I believe the term is post-purchase rationalization. A good example would be 09-12 vs. 2013 front ends :stirthepot:). And how many people have actually had multiple coils on this car? Sure they're out there but I can only guess at about dozen or so if that.
It would really be nice to see a showdown of the top 3 brands in coils and what each strength is for ontrack/offtrack driving but I doubt it's something that we'll see for our cars. Maybe something more celebrated like the frz. |

I'd recommend BC as well. I heard all the good things about BC coilovers. It's affordable, good quality and lots of options. Plus I heard if anything goes wrong, the re-build price is dirty cheap(something like 100 bucks). Megan coilovers, if I got this right, is same maker as the BC coilovers. So it should be nice too. I'd also recommend HKS HipermaxIII if money is not an issue. I had one set before and loved it. It's built top notch, ride quslity is awesome. You have 30 clicks and don't even need to take off the wheels to adjust them. You can't go wrong with the named brand.
