//Swift Spring Lowered For Newbies//

Hey all. Here's is what ur Swift spring Spe- R will sit if anyone is curious.
I'm running 15mm H&R spacers front and rears.

Too early to really judge overall since I just installed it today.
So far it's definitely a little stiffer to me. I might be crazy but its seems like its a smoother ride on the straight aways with no bumps. I.e hwy or freshly paved roads. Although if u hit a pothole on the road. I feel it harder than the stockers. So far I do like it more than the stocks. I'm also bias to that because I love all stiff suspension.
Ill update u in a few weeks once in settles. Hope that helps.

Great thanks! I like stiff ride too. Let us know.

Nice drop and nice pictures OP.
My only comment about the Swift its bouncy on the rear. Other than that everything is great.

The pics & drop is HOT looking.....very EFFEN nice big guy. Did you go with an inch drop all around? I have heard that rear end is bouncy regardless. Couldn't one put a rear sway bar to minimize the bounciness on the rear? If this doesn't work, then what would?

Thanx guys. It has a 1.3 fr and 1.0 rear drop . it should settle a tiny bit more in a few weeks and go lower as I was told . You know the rear end bounce seems the same to me. Again this is the first day since I've installed it so ill reply back in a few weeks once it settles.
Overall I do like it better already. This a temp solution till I get the Tein Mono coil over setup or something equivalent.
:excited:

Maclean I think the only way to get the bounce out is to have a dual damping system. Mainly so you can adjust the rebound from it being compressed and going back to normal height it will slow it down in thus eliminating the bounce. But I just sold my Swifts and stock struts after going with a hole Stance GR+ setup bars included. I loved my Swifts but I wanted to be lower.

I see & I appreciate it. So what would a dual damping system run these days?

@Nu@Nismo's, were you able to get to factory alignment specs with the Swift springs?

forzagt 11-27-2012 10:56 AM

Will a 325 fit the back of this car?

You just made my mind up with that setup... I was literally about to order the swifts springs and was still a bit on the fence... but that just did it for me... Great Pics and an even greater looking car. btw... the tire size helps the overall look also.

1cleans13 11-28-2012 04:39 PM

another question... Does the car rub at all with that setup?
