Not much louder to be honest. Not really worth it unless you pair it with HFC. I would just use that money towards a CBE, will really bring out the sound it should've came with.

For some reason, the G37 coupe has different exhaust note compare to the 370z. The G37 sounds much better/exotic... However, the G35 coupe and the 350z sound pretty much the same. I don't understand why they made g37 and 370z different. Maybe because the reason you stated above?

The Nismo is tad louder then the stock but it's quite noticable. I agree if you spend same amout of money on Nismo exhaust you'd better off get other brands like Fast Intentions, HKS...
