Outdoor Cover for Nismo
I'm looking for a good outdoor cover for my Nismo - these ******* cats around my house...... If I see another one on my car I'm going to loose it!
|
I bought coverking "MOSOM plus". I don't use it much, its just about impossible to get it on without two people, and the inner surface feels very scratchy. But i guess if its got to be an outdoor cover it has to be tough.

I have one specifically made for the nismo that works like a charm for when I'm parked outside. It's even water resistant (you don't want waterproof). I'll look in the morning to see what it is.

I got mine from the dealer. PN 999N2-ZWN02 for $215.00. I use it if the Nismo has to sit outside in the winter time. :(

Woke up this morning - more cat hair on my hood.... OMG!
Hey Rusty, how is the quality of the one you bought from the dealer? - Soft on the inside - cloth or microfiber like interior to protect the paint? |
+1 for 999N2-ZWN02.
Fit is perfect, materials good, soft on the underside. |
Got mine here.
http://buyautocovers.com/ They make custom fitted covers which are warranted better and fit just like dealer covers. 7 year warrantee. Not to pricy. My Z is outside every day in an windy airport parking lot. This cover is working great. I have had many covers over the years the dealer ones are average for the cost. I put 4 plastic grommets from auto part store (2 front and 2 back) to hold with bungees in wind and use a lock. ( So the punks don't make off with my cover) Without bungees all covers will blow off on a stiff wind. (Use tiny bungees to hook to suspension element) otherwise the cover might fly off in wind and beat up your paint flapping around. (The covers from auto zone etc. don't fit we'll.) My Miata sat in an airport parking lot for 10 years everyday and still looks new with original (vinyl roof) top. I use covers now on all my cars even when parked in covered spots. Keeps critters off top and keeps wax working longer due to no uv breakdown. Once you get a routine taking the covers off and on is not too tough. I recommend rolling up the sides onto the roof then rolling the cover from back to front. Your front license plate will kind of hold the cover from sliding off onto the ground or blowing away in the wind while you roll. Reverse the process to install. |

Covercraft makes the best car covers, bar none. You can get many different fabrics and prices. I have the best one, WeatherShield HD, it sheds water very well and dries quickly. You can't go wrong with Covercraft.

I have a Covercraft Noah outdoor cover for mine. It is made specifically for the Nismo version. I bought it from AutoAnything for around 220.

Cats will tear almost any cover up. Been there and done that.
