Tinting the small "portals"
I'm getting my windows tinted this week and the guy who's doing it said he's done a few 370s... he has pics, but I won't see them until the day I take my car there.
His suggestion was to tint the tiny windows with 5% so they are nearly opaque since they are pretty much unusable anyway. I think I'm going to go this route; that whole area, along with the black surround and A-pillar, would look like one large black panel... I think! Has anybody done this or seen this? Thoughts? Thanks in advance. KJ |
Mine was done that way without me even mentioning it, i think thats standard nothing special.

I did mine in 35% just like the back. They are so small that even at that they look blacked right out. I think being on the side of the car and a black interior that's what happens. I just asked for those and the back because where I am that's all you're allowed to do.

I did 5% on the front 2 & back and left the little side ones at 20% so i can actually see out of them if the seats not too far back

Mine Is 5% in the back and small side windows. 25% on the other 2

Please do 5%. Please. There's no point in doing any lighter. It's so small. Lol do 5% I promise you'll love it. On the sides you don't have to go as dark, but not as light either cuz IMO it won't flow :/

Thanks bro! Mine as well go 5% since the back portals are pretty much useless anyways depending on seat position & I love how mine looks too :)

My Nismo with 15% all the way around.
Crappy pic, I know. And glare right on the "porthole", but you get the jist of it. Even at 15% tint, the little ports look totally blacked out. |
