Winter

Any suggestions besides sit it in my garage for the winter. We get some snow in the KC area. Anyone try snow tires if they even make them this size?

I went down to a 18" rim for winter. Ran Blizzacks first winter they were shite. Running pilot alpins now and love them. I live in Edmonton canada and drive year round.

Winnipeg winter driving

Just got a new roadster a couple weeks ago and plan to drive it year round as it's my only car (I don't drive to work). Thanks for the info on the pilot alpins. I plan to go the 18" route as there are wheels available that will clear the 14" rotors of the sport PAC my car has. The limited slip diff will be helpfull too. As a I'd I had an early 1970's Z28 4 speed with limited slip diff and got around fine with snow tires when friends without the diff were getting stuck on a regular basis.

The right tires, limited slip diff and keeping a full tank of gas for a little more weight over the rear should work fine.

Come on guys!!!!!!!!!! Its not even July and we are talking about snow. I hope I never have to relive the snow we had here in the NorthEast last year ever again. Big thank you to my Nissan Versa that kept my Z out of the snow salt, sand, pot holes.

Generally I'll have another car to drive during really bad weather but that is never guaranteed so I like to see the options. It is best to ask and buy these before winter lol.

ya best to buy before because you never know when they will not have your size in.
