ever hear od leather nismo heated seats?

Okay.

I'm curious...

I want to put heated seats in my Nismo...

does anyone know how much that would cost and how much work that would take?

you have to go custom, it'll run you any where from $1k to $1.5K. When I got quotes to get my seats done (never followed through with it) it was anywhere from $600-$800 for the leather and a few hundred extra for the heated feature. It just depends on the shop that's gonna be doing it.

I put these in my S2000, and was planning on putting them in my Nismo as well under the factory seats.

Then I realized how quickly that little cabin warms up. Even when it's around 30-40deg out.

If I do decide to install. I will photograph and step by step it. It's really easy. You run power to the seats of aux, on a fuse. Switches in the center console, etc.
Take out the seats, peel back the covers and apply the heat pads. once in place and cut to fit, you reapply the covers.
I had mine done on the s2000 in about 3 hours. No fuss no muss....
Local uphulstery shops will do these as well.

no joke. i drove the car today and it was about 50 degrees and windy all day. i never really noticed it, but the inside of the car/footwells get REALLY warm fast. it seems we have little/no insulation, and the heat from the exhaust pipes warms up the cabin relatively quickly
