Muffler Delete

Who's done a muffler delete on their Nismo? I found a youtube video of a NIS with no muffler just straight pipes in place and it sounds pretty good. He's got a decibel meter in front of it. I'm wondering if there is any drone inside. Would like to get rid of the muffler just so the exhaust is actually louder than the engine. All I hear is more engine noise than exhaust. Anyone do this yet and if so is there any drone inside???? Maybe do some exhaust cut outs........

It sounds good on video but its way to loud! trust me I did it and put the muffler back on the next morning. and the drone is TERRIBLE!

Loudness won't bother me. I heard a regular 370z with no mufflers and didn't think it was loud at all. BUT if there is drone inside the cab, forget it. That is annoying and bothersome. Won't go that route. Thanks for the input. :driving:

i put spacer mod to my exhaust and that just putting some spacers in between my muffler and the piping and the drone was annoying.

Really? it drones with the washer mod? The one guy here who did it first awhile back said he didn't get any drone. Anyone here with a Nismo get the aam short tail exhaust yet? I'm interested but the price is too high and I don't know if the tips are long enough. The Nismo tips are longer than the regular tips. Wondered if it would look funny on our Nismos....
