Btw, did you even get the temporary tag off yet? That doesn't look like the Florida plates I'm accustomed to.

I think that IS the temp tag. He just bought the car on Saturday. Which makes this even more of a

I'm guessing "attempted" drifting, or donuts. Either way, you're mentally challenged for letting this happen 3 times, and I can't believe you would think we would be supportive of this type of behavior. When the insurance company fixes it, trade it in for something you're less likely to kill yourself (and others) in, preferably with front-wheel-drive.

I think he already tried the FWD thing, (Civic Si) and somehow managed the same result.

Then maybe this should be his next ride.

Then this thread will pop up:

"Can a passenger fit in the basket?"

semtex 05-03-2010 09:28 PM

Oh wait, nvm. Looks like he didn't have much luck with the scooter either.

Hopefully its not a similar waiting time as it was with juan's accident that took months. If that's the case damn you just kissed your summer in a Nismo Z goodbye.

Now that brings back memories. WOW

Jeffblue 05-03-2010 09:39 PM

maybe a possible misunderstanding of new car "break-in" maybe he thought he had to "break" it.... or pull the e-"Brake"

rockhounds 05-03-2010 09:40 PM

I brought the car on saturday from Tennesse...

hide187 05-03-2010 09:41 PM

If I ever wreck my car I am not telling you guys cause you're brutal (honest, but brutal). Good luck with the repairs OP, no more Tokyo drift for you

rockhounds 05-03-2010 09:43 PM

By the way... thanks for the feedbacks!

mdbrich 05-03-2010 09:43 PM

Funny, I crashed my Nismo a while back. Also said a dog had crossed the road. That fictitious dog really works well for your Claim. Better then | reason for crash: Being a retard and attempting corners at dumbf##k speeds. No e-brake for me tho.

Anyway... I know EXACTLY how you feel. Not many people can say that. My car drives fine, 18.5k and 3 months later. No frame damage to mine just rear suspension and everything had to be replaced. Couple airbags ect...

Take a gander at some pics... They are brothers!

First off, that's way too complicated for him, it has two levers to pull. Look how much trouble he got himself into with just one lever.

Secondly, are you saying my recommendation isn't sporty? It's a honda hatch by god!!!

Holy ****... we thought you deleted your account after that wreck.

rockhounds 05-03-2010 09:46 PM

You guys could take it as a good opportunity to create a real discussion on how to introduce the car and the real risks on driving in some ways, that would be really better than this fool comments...

rockhounds 05-03-2010 09:48 PM

Thanks bro for sharing your experience... it hurts but I'm pretty sure the frame was not affected... how long did they take to repair yours?

mdbrich 05-03-2010 09:52 PM

Haha no, I was trying to in case of liability ect. But now its clear, and all taken care of. No Z for 3 months makes you not so active as a board member. That and you guys are pretty harsh. But live and learn, do it better, not faster.

And we would be better served with you off the road. Menace.

NYBladeZ 05-03-2010 09:57 PM

3 months? Not bad that'll put the OP back on the road early August. Moral of the story don't drift on side streets you're one curb hop for a summer long Z vacation.

nogoodname 05-03-2010 09:58 PM

Damn, that sucks that it won't be totaled... If you plan on not selling it, guess that's alright.

At least these levers are intended to be pulled while driving.. :)

And with the Honda... much too dangerous if that vtec kicks in....

hazzazi 05-03-2010 10:28 PM

why is it always a nismo crashing?...

anyways, glad ur okay

NYBladeZ 05-03-2010 11:52 PM

I guess they think those suspension mods make them superior and better able to handle the stupidity of drifting on the street.

CrownR426 05-04-2010 12:08 AM

No upgrades to my suspension but my baby can handle!
You guys have to learn how to control a z sideways before trying stupid ****.
Glad you're okay but im sorry it's not totaled...

... you better hope your insurance salesman doesn't own a Z / frequents this forum

gumpy 05-04-2010 12:39 AM

Dude,

good to know that you're ok...

I'm sad to hear that it's your 3rd time. Back 10 years ago when i got my first car I had an accident because I was fooling around in an industrial area at night with no other cars or people around. I guttered my car and learnt my lesson and have never don't anything of that nature on public roads again... and I never will.

They will fix it fine, they'll unscrew the back suspension and put new ones back on...

just be careful dude... if you want to drift do it in freedom on the skidpan...

chuckd05 05-04-2010 02:02 AM

The tags on this thread are hilarious....

and the rest of it is disgusting... Did you buy this car with your own money ? Do you realize the value of the car and of the dollar ? You say the 370 isnt the same as the 350z nismo... its not all that different...

How long did you have the 350z nismo ?

.

DubL Z 05-04-2010 02:31 AM

reading this thread was very funny. i need make sure my VDC is on. wait a minute, i dont drive like that!! glad no one was hurt!

CrownR426 05-04-2010 08:18 AM

LOL
"My mom drove my z to the store"

Yes I bought it with my own money, does it matter? For me whoever is paying doesn't matter since money is money... hard to get for me and for you. I had a couple of friends in the same situation years ago and never ever acted like the guys on this forum. Pointing out fingers to somebody else is not the best way to create a community sharing experiences. I'm disappointed overall with the conduct here because I could be totally selfish not posting this for other people. I have a family, my own company and I suppose the ones who believe that are more experienced than others handling their Z's should be more collaborative and not getting a condescending tone on their posts. Regardless on what happened to me or to the others in the past/future, I think you could take a better advantage on having somebody like me posting my own experience and try to collaborate with the new Z buyers to take care of themselves when driving it on the streets. My first impression is that you think I was drifting all over the place like a dumb. First, I don't know how to drift so I did my best to keep the car under control, and second, the area where I was at the crash time is not populated so I was a little bit faster than usual.

By the way, thanks for those who cared about me and my Nismo. I received a call from Nissan that the frame was not affected so it should be ok in a few weeks.
