15+ Nismo front bumper question

Ok so I scratched the underside on my new nismo front bumper. I know things like this are inevitable. But just wondering if the bottom lip portion can be replaced by itself for when I eventually totally destroy the whole thing. This would be oem parts.

I know the non-Nismo front bumper on my 2011 sport model has a plastic front chin spoiler that takes the brunt of the scraping. I shave it down with a razor blade to clean it up whenever I'm under the car.

However, I don't believe the Nismo bumper has anything like that. It has an extended lip that I believe is smooth underneath. I could be wrong though and it wouldn't be the first time. I'm not as familiar with the newer Nismo front bumper.

The '14 Nismo has a replaceable underside. The clips to attach it to the rest of the bumper are $120, because Nissan doesn't believe in using lube when they bend you over.

Sorry to say, but the 15+ Nismo front bumper is all one piece. There is no replaceable bottom piece.

Well I knew it would be inevitable, but I thought Id make at least a week before my first scratch. Guess, I'll start reverse parking now.

I understand your pain. I have actually considered installing a camera in the front bumper to help me park. Apparently after 22 years of driving I still can't judge where that #@!$^ing pylon is.

I thought about the camera as well. Ended up just parking diagonally in the handicapped spots.

Be careful with that. I'm not a LEO or anything. But I am deputized by the county and have a ticket book with which I can issue tickets to unauthorized vehicles illegally parked in an accessible parking space or a vehicle blocking the access aisle :twocents:

All jokes... you're making the very large assumption that my car ever leaves the garage lol
