2017 Nissan 370Z Nismo low production numbers this year?

I was talking to a fellow Nissan 370Z enthusiast and he was telling me that this year in 2017 that the 2017 Nissan 370Z Nismo had low production numbers and Nissan didn't make as many as the previous years? Does anyone have any links of the production numbers?

No links but when I bought my 2017, last month and the salesman said that he's heard they are considering discontinuing the nismo 370z in favour of higher sale nismo versions (juke, Sentra etc)

Just drove by a local Nissan dealer about an hour ago.He went from 0 to 10 370Z Base cars this week, but no Nismos.

You can go on the Nissan website the 2018 nismo's are on sale. There was a lot of speculation because of the infinity q60s and it's 3.0 twin turbo 400bhp engine that the nismo Z might be changing platform. But maybe 2019 as the 2018's are on sale with the same engine continued.

I hope that Nissan doesn't discontinue the Nismo version of the 370Z. Even though it is not there best selling Nissan because of it's high price but, it is the most favorite among people and enthusiasts. The 2017 Nissan 370Z Nismo is one of my favorite vehicles and one of the best looking Nissan's I think.

I doubt it will be discontinued, however they may change the platform engine wise and the car has been out for a while now so they may be replacing it with something new.

They've already announced the next generation of Z cars will be debuted at the Tokyo auto show in October. Hopefully they have a Nismo variant too. I'm waiting to mod my car because I will most likely be getting one of the new Zs if they have a Nismo with a manual transmission.
