Collector's insurance Nismo

I called Collector's car insurance to see if my 2013 Nismo Z was a collectible. They said yes and would give me insurance under that title if it wasn't and everyday driver. But then he asked me where i live i said FLA. he said nope can't do it. But we do it in most other states.

Just thought i'd give you nismo owner's a heads up that you can get full coverage insurance for penny's on the dollar for your car. If its not a daily driver

barncobob 08-10-2016 04:25 PM

caveat emptor on that thought

Kamillio 08-11-2016 09:53 AM

What is the insurance company you are referring to? Also how little do we have to drive the Nismo for it to fit the collectible car criteria?

Modern classic cars must be limited production cars less than 10 years old. Antique cars must be at least 25 years old and have no modifications or have been restored to their original condition. Other restrictions may apply. Ask your local Safeco agent if your car can be insured with Safeco classic car insurance.

Many insurance companies will limit owners to driving their collector car to 2,500 miles per year. Many even require annual odometer readings. Some though are flexible with their usage guidelines and will not strictly limit the mileage they may be driven.

Hagerty

I have Hagerty for my 2014 Nismo. Can't be your daily and your daily can't be too old. You get a few thousand miles per year. No issues here.

I'm in FL, did they give a reason why they don't write in the Sunshine State?
