2016 vs 2015
 

Long story short, got the dealer to buy back my 2015 NISMO and picked up a 2016 NISMO. Definitely sounds a bit different, which is most obviously attributed to the Bose ANC/ANE. Doesn't sound as artificial as I feared and isn't displeasing.

The transmission appears to be a bit more... "clicky." Not at all in a bad way. I never had complaint about the 15 shifting but this feels more fun. My initial impression was to call it 'notchy' but that seems to have a negative implication with clutch drag, etc. Being mindful of the CSC issue I experienced at 2000 miles on my 15, wondering if I should be concerned.

Everything else is identical. Took a few minutes to pop in my GTR button again and set my radio presets and just like I remembered.

I had the privilege of driving 2 2016's that had csc failure at 1100 miles and 3. So I would be very weary of them.

Concentric slave cylinder. Basically, your clutch pedal will one day go down and not come back up and you'll probably be stranded somewhere. If you're lucky, it may only not come up all the way back and it will be drivable for a brief period.

Hope Nissan fixes this soon or at least look into it. Seems alot of the 2016s are having even more failures than normal.

Looks like they changed the mic pattern on the headliner. Used to see one little grill right by the visor on my 15. Now there's 4 squares with a single dot on each side, as well above each headrest.

Now thinking back to my G35. I had similar issues where the clutch pedal will not come back up when driving on a warm day or long periods of me riding the clutch in traffic. Found out that it was due to me not using GTR clutch fluid when I flushed the system.
