Front bumper dividers

So after installing injen cais one of my buddies pointed out 2 dividers that blocked off air to the intakes at an attempt to direct flow to the rad. We took them right out, I really dont know if it gets any extra flow to the filters but just some food for thought. Cheers!

Pics of the dividers to which you're referring?

The cai filters will pull enough air with those dividers in place as the dyno tests done from members were done with the dividers in place.

avg was 5-7 hp compared to the Stillen Gen3's ;)

I personally ran those intakes a few years ago and had no breathing issues to warrant removing the guides.

Those dividers are meant to keeping the volume of incoming air thru the front grills moving past the radiator and into engine bay.

You wont notice the change but thats what they're there for. ;)

I know when I pulled off my bumper last time I noticed one of them was bent around and not pointed toward the front so I straightened it out.

Anyway just a reply enjoy the intakes and avoid deep puddles in the winter/raining season :ugh2:

We knew they were for that but your dividers compared to mine... the 2016s have mesh padding and are super flimsy...
