No rattles for me.

NefariousZ34 08-02-2015 04:33 PM

I know Sign I didn't mean to come off that way. Just normally when people say well my AT doesn't rattle. Then someone with a MT does. It starts a debate with other members getting involved. Not that you were arguing that point. You were simply stating that obviously with AT no shifter rattle should occur. I just wanted to stop a debate in my thread before it started.

Coralz you and dpe both suck lol :tiphat:

Sorry bro. If it makes you feel better I was getting an annoying squeak/rubbing sound from the driver seat where the leather pulls over the headrest area. Probably due to the heat down here. Thankfully it is gone now.

No rattles for me either. It must be the pearl white. Black is tainted. :icon17:

Ya go tell your dealership you tracked your car and have a warranty issue... Let me know what they say about your "racecar" then.

I sometimes get a rattle while driving on the left gauge cover in the 3-gauge cluster. I have to press it down for it to stop

NefariousZ34 08-08-2015 08:26 AM

Ya I've had that one to I consider that minor.

I'm just going with mb stands for minority black and pw stands for perfect white

Are you or anyone else with a 15/16 Z noticing that the rear lower bumper in the center (where the little light would be, for example) moves in and out a bit?

I noticed while washing my Z a few weeks ago I could grab the lower edge of the bumper and flex it around a bit. I know the bumper is just a piece of plastic and is not firmly attached everywhere but it seems to move a little more than I would expect.

It looks fine and there is no damage so I'm thinking it's normal but I don't remember whether it was like that when I first brought it home or not...

WOW, you are OCD like me with the rock chips. I would suggest getting a clear bra for the front of the car. I have no shifter rattles with this car. My old 2012 Nismo had it and I hated it. Black cars you just deal with the dirtiness until you can wash it. Especially if it is raining like crazy. In FL, that is a big issue for you. With the Nismo, it's suspension is stiff and the dampers are lacking for everyday driving, expect rattles over rough bumps. Just part of the game. I hate bumpy roads that need repair.

My WRX feels like a cream puff, bouncing all over the road. I wish it was as stiff as my '15 NISMO. :D

Electrify904 09-01-2016 07:54 PM

Only rattle I have on my '16 is the bass from the Bose subwoofer making something rattle inside the driver door, it drives me crazy.
