Clutch engagement for turning car on? And a loose rear bumper lol
When I first got it I only had to press it in 1/4th maybe half way down for the car to turn on now I'm almost an inch off the floor before it will turn over? Anyone noticed a declining clutch engagement for just turning the car on?
Shifting is fine about 2-3 inches from the top the clutch is disengaged. I can go through all gears idling or driving. I'm just worried my new baby might not turn over one day. Hoping to stay away from the stealership even though back bumper is loose and probably going in for that. |
Sounds like the switch on the pedal bracket has backed out or loosened. This can be adjusted easily, or if it's new just take to the dealer.

It's new, I'd rather fix it If I can I don't trust them to fix ****... And when they say they're going to it always ends up being some back ordered part and my car has to stay there for weeks. The only reason I trust them with the bumper is because if I take it in and they do something to "fix" it and the bitch flies off then at least I have a record of them messing with it.

I'm with Read T - it's probably a pedal switch that needs to be adjusted or replaced. The FSM has diagnostic procedures and R&R instructions.

I always push mine all the way to the floor when starting. It's best to do so the clutch is fully disengaged.

I always push the pedal in all the way so never noticed that.
