Price Drop

When the 2016 came out, the base was 10K cheaper than the 2015 base, and the 2016 nismo starts at 46k where I live, so I was expecting a price drop for all the older years however the 2015 still go for 50k. Are the 2016 not out yet or the prices just going to stay this high? Ive been planning to get a Nismo and waited since May for the prices to drop. Not because I dont have the money but to be smart about it and wait it out so I can get it cheaper.

You won't likely see a price drop on 2015's until around Thanksgiving-Christmas holidays they will be trying to only stock 2016's. If you can hold out and you're waiting for the best price...wait until end of Jan-Feb and that's when they really knock $ off. They have to report sales statistics to Nissan and in their eyes it doesn't look good if it's 2016 and they still haven't moved the last year model cars off the lot to make room for all the New Years shipments. Most likely there will be some incentive deals through Nissan as well but normally the top tier cars like the NISMO don't qualify. Good luck!

Get an Edmunds quote. I had 3 offers of exactly what I picked (6MT White NISMO Tech). 42.3, 43.9, and 45.6 from nearby dealers. If one dealer is better bounce the other guys price off him. Do your due diligence and make sure they don't try to pull a switcheroo on you since it's not a normal negotiating process and you should be dealing with the internet people who are generally pretty good, at least as far as sales types go.
