I went to a dealer today that had all colors of the new Nismos. Here are some pics and a video if I am able to upload them.

NoLaKrewe 01-31-2015 08:45 PM

The rims look like cancer

I like them, but just wouldn't jump out of my Nismo for one. Would've made one kick *** Sport model though.

Does it bother anyone else that the "duckbill" wing is sort of just laid on top of the rear hatch? Can't get over the layers of frp/metal laying on top of one another. :icon14:

I cant decide whether Nissan is trying too hard or they're just not trying hard enough with this version of the Nismo. The front fascia resembles too much of Focus ST imo.

What is "frp"?

I kind of prefer the old wing but that could possibly be changed.

On topic of the wing, there is a separate strip on top of the wing near the back edge that looks like it is removable. The strip is about 5/8" wide and runs almost the full width of the wing. Not sure what that's about.

There are plenty of '14 Nismos left at the dealers if you guys are looking for one. The sales people are always trying to unload that on me whenever I inquire on the '15 Nismo.

Fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) (also fibre-reinforced polymer) is a composite material made of a polymer matrix reinforced with fibres. The fibres are usually glass, carbon, aramid, or basalt. Rarely, other fibres such as paper or wood or asbestos have been used. The polymer is usually an epoxy, vinylester or polyester thermosetting plastic, and phenol formaldehyde resins are still in use.

FRPs are commonly used in the aerospace, automotive, marine, construction industries and ballistic armor

After looking at the infinity G37 replacement I think good things are on the horizon for the next Z

Me either, i think alot of it has to do with the wheel package though (for me), that and it just looks more like a basic z than the previous nismos

janglez 02-06-2015 03:20 PM

saw one in person a few weeks ago... it was white... although no matter the color i just don't like them... TOTAL fail imo

Z-Girl 12 02-06-2015 03:35 PM

My live is still with the previous Nismo...this looks over done. Rims are yucky looking, spoiler is bland, and the trimmings are weird.

Zbrah 02-06-2015 03:49 PM

I'll just leave this here
