2014 Roadster owner in 2 weeks.
 

I have a deposit on a 2014 TOURING Solid red with Black int., AT with Nav. Will be flying half way across the country in two weeks to finalize the deal and drive it home. I'm not new to Z cars, been playing with them since the 70's....currently have two custom Datsun 280Z's that I will be selling and have had 3 other ones. Look forward to learning more about the 2014. Nice! I love the roadsters. What state are you flying to? I did the same as you and drove her over 3400 miles home. Congrats on the newest Z to your collection!

Thanks for the welcome. Picked up the new Z almost 2 weeks ago. Wife and I flew out to Minneapolis to get it . Momma was happy..she got to spend a day and a half at Mall of America. Bought it from Wayzata Nissan, great honest people to deal with and excellent pricing. At the time I was looking, I only found 4 red Roadsters equipped as I wanted and they had 3 of them. They apparently get Nissan exec lease cars. They had 10 Roadsters and 20 coupes, all 2014s. The salesman, Kyle, picked us up at the airport and the entire transaction was excellent. Car was in condition as described and total price was exactly as I was quoted...not a penny of any "hidden" additional fees.

We drove 1300 miles home , most of the time with top down. I absolutely love this car. Only problem is....so does my wife, who has never been a "car person". She keeps referring to it as "her " car. When I corrected her one day by saying .." Uh..it is NOT your car" she replied..." YES, it is...it's my retirement gift. Get your own !".....Hmmm... a black 6speed Coupe might be nice....A pic from along the Mississippi. AL
