2013 Pearl White Nismo New Owner

Hey guys!!
After so much thinking and walking around car, I decided to pull the trigger. I now have a PW NISMO. I am currently in Tucson, Arizona but will be driving to Kansas City, Kansas/Missouri in order to relocate for a new position.

The drive is in 4 days and counting. Pictures will be up in the morning!!!

-Miguel

Took it for a stroll this morning. Ah omg, I've wanted this car for years!... Here are the pics:

Thanks!!

Love your Z. How is the TT setup treating you? I am eventually going to go that route.

Feels good to finally be part of the 370 club. Thanks all

Also, anyone in Tucson wanna meet up before I depart?

ETA: Any advice anyone would give to this new NISMO owner? Special quirks or something

First thing first, make sure the dealership had removed the front spring spacers, especially for the upcoming long drive

And get a clear bra

Interesting. I was not aware of such spacers. I will check the suspension and take it to the dealership first thing tomorrow morning. Thank you.

Already tinted ;) got the dealership to throw in tint, desert protection and some other extras for free.

So I checked out the springs this morning, and no spacers/widgets. :ugh2: I hate to think a dealership as big as the one i purchased from (Jim Click, he owns a Ford, Mazda, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan and Dodge dealerships in Tucson) would lack the knowledge of something like that. Or ANY dealership for that matter.

Thanks a ton for the heads up!!!

Thanks!! I took it for a drive today in a well known twisty road, ah was it fun. Not used to the transmission or the overall feel of the car. I guess an 1800 mile drive in two days will help! :icon17:

Oil temps only went to 220. During the 1400 mile drive to Kansas City I saw similar temps but consistently lower since it wasn't so hot.

I second the clear bra - i got the bra ONLY on the front bumper - costed me $400 but saved a world of pain. I didn't get my hood wrapped and you can see all kinds of rock chips right where the bra stops.....it's still a good excuse to buy the VARIS hood though now :)

I definitely agree the bra will help a lot. I will do so as soon as my next check comes in lol
