Here is some info I received from Nissan...

Yes, the VIN you provided me below is indeed #1 for model year 2011. And since the Gun Metallic (KAD) color was new to the Z lineup for that model year, it is the first KAD colored Nismo 370Z. #2 was also KAD color. There was a total of 124 2011 Nismo 370Zs built in the KAD color.

Your car is #1 of 553 Nismo 370Zs built for 2011. Serial plates actually go to 554, but due to a production error #444 was never used. Your car came off the line on October 1, 2010 and arrived in the USA through the port of Los Angeles (Long Beach, CA).
