New 2012 GM NISMO #294
 

It is with great pleasure that I announce my purchase of a 2012 GM NISMO #294 today from OC Nissan in Garden Grove (CA). I am very impressed with the fit, finish and performance thus far. My previous vehicle was a 2008 Evo X MR, which has the SST (Twin Clutch; so I am rekindling my manual transmission skills. Can't wait to see you guys at the tracks in SoCal.

Welcome and congrats! How do you like the 370 compared to the EVO?

Both are very capable and drastically different cars. I have a new appreciation for those who track/race manual rear wheel drive cars. I was spoiled with the SST (dual clutch transmission) and all wheel drive.

As for a comparison, the Z feels more responsive to throttle inputs and powerful. The Z's fit and finish is far superior to the Evo (you can tell Mitsu spent the $$ on the drive train). IMHO, the Z looks 100% better than an Evo as well. I have been slightly surprised with how planted the Z feels. I can't wait to get it out on track and feel comfortable driving it fast!

With all that said, my next car will be a GTR! Judging by your avatar you know why.
