New to the site - added a 370z Nismo to the garage

Right before end of year I made a deal on a new addition to the garage "family"...a '09 Nismo-Edition 370z, #196.

As we're still in the "deep-freeze" until April here in OH, I won't have better pics for a while...

I still can't get over how much taller this car is relative to our Z32s...

The TT vert was a find while I was on vacation last summer (Nantucket)...kids & wife went to sleep so I started surfing Autotrader and other like sites. I tend to search for $5k and less listings to see what's out there for friends and family and came across a Z32 convertible "TT". I was skeptical thinking scam, etc...called the guy, spoke to him for a good hour and he forwarded me more photos during the call. The car had been swapped but wasn't complete (boxes and boxes of new parts including the FMIC, new urethane front bumper cover, brake pads, steel braided brake lines, tie rods, tension rods...).

Checked the VIN via autocheck and it was clean...offered him $4k for it and he said yes (it was listed for 5k). Had it shipped for $350 and it arrived two days later. Used the majority of the next two weekends to sort out all the intercooler plumbing, wiring issues, etc. and put some garage-parts on her I had left over from other projects (boost pipes, HKS BOVs, interior tidbits...and wholla...daily-driver convertible TT. :driving:

She's not pretty with an unpainted nose, but she will be eventually. :)

badass, good find  i got in a heated argument once with a girl that claimed her Z32 vert was a TT. "well my dad told me it was." :shakes head: not in the US, hun.

i bet that's a fun one for anyone, even a Z fan, to run up next to. surprise! "whoosh!" lol

Thanks! And no...I've been a long-standing member of the northern Ohio club - ClevelandZClub.com. We hosted the 2008 ZCCA Car Convention in Cleveland. Between the local Z club interaction, my site (roadgodz.com) and the ZCCA I'm booked solid season to season with the Z hobby. :)

Our local club does 3-4 large events and another 3-4 local events per year including attending the Z Car Convention. This year, we're (again) the host for the Midwest Z Heritage regionals event (event info: Midwest Z Heritage Car Show).

Hey, Glad to finally see some pictures of that thing. I was wondering if you were going to post any over at zcar.

Looks as if you have got yourself a nice stable there.
