My first Z, first Nismo

I just picked up my nismo today, it's 2017 Z Nismo, since it's my first Z, i have some questions:
Does Nismo comes with Key number? the little metal tag that comes with the key, using for car fob replacement in case u lose ur fob, and u can just go back to nissan with the metal tag and they will replace it.
Does Nismo comes with the stereo code? lots care comes with the code printed on a plastic card, come is printed on a sticker and stick on the side of the glove department, some doesn't need to use a code.
And Today I just notice my Nismo doesn't have spare tire, i got my nismo second hand, i am wondering if the previous owner didn't put it in or it just doesn't have a spare tired?
As today i was on my way driving home in my Nismo, I tried to turn off the sports mode, but i don't see any indicator/light on or off as i switch it, but the S that's beside the gear light on my dash board, has stayed on the whole time, or i m wrong that's not the sports mode light at all?

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your Z. Let me try to answer most of your questions.
- not aware of any codes for the radio. Don’t think there is one.
- I believe the dealer knows the correct key fob replacement by your serial number. Not to worry
- yes the car is supposed to come with a spare and scissor lift.
- the S mode is not sport mode but syncrorev mode which means it automatically adjusts the throttle to match RPM. You can turn it off by holding the button down for 5 seconds.

Enjoy your car!

Thx, I took sometime read over the user's manual, and figured out the S mode
I just sent my Nismo for under coating, picked it up past fri, but now it has to stay in my garage for the winter :shakes head:

What did you undercoat it with? Why the undercoating if you’re not driving it in the winter? Just curious.

I actually drove during the winter time in Vancouver, I change the tires to 4 season tires, and able to drive in light snow. I had to park my car inside the garage for 5 days the week before when it was snowing pretty bad in my city. I m happy I undercoat it

You are very smart for undercoating you’re Z as I do know in Vancouver and the surrounding area they apply chemicals on the roads and roads are salted as well which will lead to surface rust and rust on your Z over time. Definitely wash your Z regularly if you drive in the fall/winter season. There are some times up there it snows so much you wish that it would stop snowing.
