Congrats & welcome from another senior, living just a little south of you.I also had a 73 240Z, green with tan interior when I also lived in the NW GTA area. There's been a few mods over the years to the new ones.

I'm not new to Nissans - I've owned two Datsun 510s, two 240Zs, and a 3.5 Altima Coupe over the years (I'm not young! LOL). The Nismo is a pre-retirement gift to myself. It will be garaged during our nasty Canadian winters and thoroughly enjoyed during the summer. When I was 19 I bought my first 240Z, a brand new '73 (did I mention I'm old?), and this new Z has given me many of the same feelings that I enjoyed way back then and puts a smile on my face every time I get in it. This car has the attitude I love in a sports car!

My contributions here will likely be few and far between but I look forward to enjoying this forum, and my Z, for years to come.

Congrats! I remember when I was a kid when uncle drove his 240z to my moms house to visitI was always excited, it was a electric blue color I admired it. I think the z what got me into cars when growing up.

Nice choice !!! After my (30) year marriage ended back in 2015, I decided it was time to spend some $$$ on myself after raising (3) kids also. My other ride is an Xterra (2002) which I still love & drive daily. I'm only a few years behind you man. Enjoy Life

Default Old guy too!

Guess this is the right place for me to post also. I'm older with a 2016 nismo in eastern Canada. Yes, it is stored for the winter. Great forums for anyone with questions about their z. Mine is Red and I do have a question. Can someone confirm that all Nismos in Canada are built with Nav and Bluetooth, the features that our friends south of us are calling a Nismo Tech? Thanks

Allen

Another old guy (60 years young) checking in. Just picked up a new 2018 magnetic black auto trans base model in September for a pre-retirement gift to myself (35 years of teaching Geometry as of next year and I'm going to "graduate" one final time!!). Agree with other posters that I feel it is an unbeatable car for the $. Still took 17 years to save up ( yeah, teachers salary) so I could pay cash and just drive it home. Looked at a bunch of possible choices over that time, but the 370 always captured my imagination and interest every time I saw one. A friend got one a few years back and I was hooked ever since. Hoping to add a set of forgestar wheels in polished copper, but may be awhile before I can swing 'em. Think they would really shine on the mag. black. My baby is tucked away for the Pennsylvania winter right now. Only got 750 miles on her before tucking her in. Sure looking forward to springtime. It is amazing how driving it does make an old fella feel a bit young again and so glad I finally have one to enjoy. Hope that all my fellow "old timers" are doing so as well!!!!

Well, I guess I should chime in. I may be the oldest 370Z owner on this site. I will be 75 in a few months. The 370Z Sport Tech is my 6th Z. It still is a blast to get behind the wheel and feel that steady range of power and the design to handle it well. I hope that I still have many years of Z enjoyment left and I wish the same for all of you.
