2017 Nismo Tech in SoCal

Picked up a 2017 pearl white 370Z Nismo Tech a month ago today. Previously owned an '06 Infiniti G35 coupe (sold) and a '15 Infiniti Q70 (now the wife's daily). Got bored with the Q70 and needed something more enjoyable to drive so here I am.

I'm not a fan of the red Nismo accents so I dropped some parts off at the body shop to get painted (lower front bumer accents, rear bumper stripe, side mirror covers, door handles, various plastic engine covers). I wrapped the gray/red edges of the side skirts in dry carbon vinyl from vvivid and used the excess to wrap the small strip at the edge of the rear spoiler. Added a Takeda intake and functional rear fog (tail/brake/reverse).

Congrats on the new Z. I agree with having the red accents color matched. It looks much better. I did mine early this year and happy with it. Who did your paint work?

k67p67 10-31-2016 12:42 PM

Thanks all.

I had the paint work done at a local shop in Upland, CA (Bill Richardson Auto Body). They did a pretty good job. I was trying to save myself multiple trips to my regular shop (Auto Explosion in Gardena, CA).

Diamond Hills in Diamond Bar is where I did mine. Excellent facility, excellent work.
