New 2016 Nismo Owner in DFW

Hey all, yesterday I bought a 2016 Nismo brand new off the lot. I remember the very first commercial I saw for the Z car in a movie theater with my father before the 350Z ever came out. The commercial was in black and white if I remember correctly and I think thats when I became a car guy. I've also been a Z fan for a long time, think I signed up on this forum when the 370Z came out but never owned one before. Last time I visited this forum was 4-20-2014. so now I finally get to post that I am a Z owner.

I traded in my 2008 E92 M3. I already miss that car. What a great machine. I wanted something newer with the handling. 370Z is down on power compared to the M but its so much newer and has a warrenty!

I HATE the ASE (active sound enhancement) so thats the first search I will do here. Next it needs an exhaust.

Good to meet you all!

Plans for the new car at this point...

Keep stock rays and put the 285's up front while adding some 315's in the back.
Coilovers
FI headers and CBE
CAI of some sort
FI clutch (saves 31 lbs?)
FI oil cooler

I want to do track days so looking for the best track day mods. Mostly to improve handling and weight. Haven't decided on staying NA or not but I'd prefer NA. I'd also prefer 450 HP at the crank or a modest power gain to get this thing up to speed cause the power isn't there. I came from an E92 M3 which was a touch quicker.

Having a "drivers car" is the goal here. Not a track monster or run way King.

You're gonna need more than header+CBE+CAI to get 450hp @ crank. You'll also need to include adjustable suspension arms (unless you get a setup that can keep stock height).
