New from South Africa

Just like to say Hi.

My Name is Geert and I am a new Z owner and a new member. Just got a 2010 Roadster + Nav with 70 000km (43500Miles) on the clock. No mods, and I am unlikely to modify.

Maybe a few visual changes, the wheels have a bit of damage so a fix and re-spray on those, no colour decision yet.

So far the car has been great. Previous cars worth mentioning include a 928S ,Prelude (2.2 non vtec) and a CLK320 all were great at the time. But I really like the Z and it probably contains all of the best features of the mentioned cars and much more.

Wtf is that? Do people steal license plates over there or something?

I used to know a South African a couple years back, the stories I heard...

They actually do, however I bought this vehicle in a different region and am waiting for re-registration and new plates, but we get a 21 day permit in the meantime. This means I can drive the Z properly, no worry about cameras. Our traffic police is lazy, no active policing.

Actually fitted my plates yesterday :(

Most of it true, I can assure you, just look the fences in the picture. But if you take out the crime, it's probably one of the best countries to live in.

I used to live in Tampa (many moons ago, early 80ties). Loved it there though

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the family!
