New member and has questions :)

Hey guys!
I'm josh , this weekend il be going to SoCal to see 2 Nissan nismo
1. Black 2010 , 35k miles for 26k.
2. Grey/ish/brown 2009 , 7.5k miles for 28k
What are some stuff should I be looking for?
Also I tired to look up recalls or common problems with the z but wasn't able. Find any.

Can you post here?
I'm putting 1 as my first choice because of the color I love black! And yes it's hard to keep clean!! Lol :)

Do you guys know the owner for these? They haven't showed or told me nismo number

Look around for TSB's Technical Service Boards for anything particular about the Z.
My advice is to steer away from the 09 (first year Z) From what I have heard and read on this forum there were some bugs in its first year but any of you 09 owners feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
Ask for service records on any car you look at. A good first owner should be more than happy to provide them for you. I have every service record done on mine and easily available to the next person if I ever do sell my Z. This is very important to me anyway.
Check paint, tire wear, excessive road noise (camber wear), shifting, grinding, etc. while on test drive. If it feels right go for it.

If 6speed manual, shifting from 1st to 2nd will feel "clunky". That is normal and you get accustomed to the raw feel. Don't freak out about it.
:)

Haven't had any issues with my 09 touring but with any used car purchase have it checked by your mechanic first. Look for signs of aftermarket (specifically DIY) installs. The usual stuff. Don't mind the cabin noise or the clunky gearbox. That's all normal.
