Hi, new to the Z realm!

Hi all. Yesterday, I committed to buying a 2014 blk/blk m6 touring + sport + nav w/kick plates for $39,995. It is being brought from a dealer nearly 300mi away. I am aware of the CSC line issues and I am ordering the stainless steel line + Motol fluid today. Other than that, I am hyped about owning this car!

My love affair with the Z started last summer. A best friend of mine let me drive his white 370Z 7AT + sport for a about 60 miles+. I had lost interest in autos as a hobby for some time, but when I drove the Z, I was revitalized!! :happydance:

Fast forward to now, not wanting to wait for a next gen Z, possible 4cyl turbo, and for Nissan to work out the bugs, I said *yolo*. :p

It'll be replacing my 99 Prelude after 15 years of ownership. I used to take care of the Lude meticulously but real life happened (more school, less money) and I wasn't able to maintain it as well as I would have liked. :( I am hoping to sell it to a fellow enthusiast who will give it some much needed restoration & TLC.

Regardless, it's time to look forward. I will post again after it arrives. Thanks for reading. :)

I am glad it was, I like having rare things. ;) Even now it is still enjoyable to drive and I am having a hard time parting with it mentally as corny as that seems.

The dealer called me today and stated it will be approx 10-14 days until my car arrives. Instead of being driven from another dealer 300+ mi away, they are bringing via truck (car carrier?) from the warehouse!! Told them no rush, the sweeter the experience will be when it actually arrives.

Congrats on the purchase and being delivered via car carrier is awesome! The wife and I bought a Murano a few years ago that was delivered from another dealer that turned out to be a bad experience. The dealer it came from must've washed it with a brillo pad and then drove it behind a gravel hauler the entire 80 miles down the road. Needless to say I told them to keep it.
