Love at first sight - My 370Z Nismo
 

So I was on my way to go test drive a Scion FR-S to compare it to the BRZ I drove at a nearby Subaru dealership. I was set on getting a BRZ for at least a month and a half. As I was coming up on the Nissan dealer about a mile before the Toyota dealer, I figured I'd stop in and at least test drive a 370Z since I've always been a fan. 6 hours later, I found myself driving home in a 2011 370Z Nismo and I haven't looked back since.

HELL YEAH.

That's the way to do it. The Z (even non-Nismo) will drive circles around the Toybaru twins. Grats!

Was it pre-owned? Why is the rear bumper partially orange?

It was a certified pre-owned 2011. It came off the lot with that orange vinyl over the lip. Normally I can't see myself going for a look like that (especially orange) but I actually like it a lot. Gives it some character.

I would do the whole lip kit around in orange. Give it a Porsche look!

Hah that's exactly where I got it from. Picked it up in September.

I actually took it for a nice drive today with my buddy that just got a Z06. We were both surprised to see that I was able to keep right up on his *** on the winding roads. He smoked me on straightaways though. My god that Z06 is FAST!

I might do something like that, or go with some orange underglow. That would look pretty sweet too.

Nice, yeah our cars are more for the track than straight line performance. We should try to get a mini meet going. I've seen quite a few Z's lately around my area lol

I'd be down for that. I've seen a few here and there. Caught another Nismo out in Fort Lee a while back. I might be going up to 7 Lakes again this weekend, we could use some more Z power.

My bf is trying to get me to move to NJ as well.. be another Nismo. haha.

That's what I thought at first as well, but I grew to love it. It's definitely not something I could have ever seen myself going for, but it fits the personality of the car and pictures don't really do it justice. Some friends of mine who saw pics first then in person said the same thing, lol.

I was wondering if there was a good place around NJ for tuning my Z. Any places you guys can recommend to go to? I like DIY projects, but I'm not the best or the most knowledgeable when it comes to tuning a car and there are certain things I'd rather leave to the pros.

I've stuck to tuning PC's, not performance cars :rofl2:

The faux "LOLCAR" tag in the photo made me giggle, and reminded me of a Nissan Cube in my local area that actually has a tag that reads... wait for it...
