hello from Mass.

Just purchased my first Z in March and I have to say it's fantastic! Have to remind myself to ease up a little, (leadfoot). Been a Porsche fanatic for 36 yrs.. Yes, I'm 60 years old but the heart says 30something. I've owned a '73 914,a '67 912, and a '70 911E (converted to "S" specs.) Your probably asking why,a Z? Well, just LOOK at it! It screams performance,21st centry style, as well as s*x appeal. I'm not knocking Porsche but, style-wise compared to the Cayman/Boxster or even the aging Carrera, the Z beats it in all catagories. Now what to do with all my Porsche stuff, I have boxes of it. Any suggestions? Thank you for the nice introduction to the Forum. Happy to be a part of the Z family, and I look forward to meeting all of you (5,000+) but not all at the same time! BOBz:tiphat:

Welcome aboard Bob :tiphat: You made a good choice

The z is addictive to drive, I cant think of a better more affordable sports car to own either...

as for the porsche stuff, if you are a patient person then I would suggest ebay. Its a good way to clean out the garage ;)

Hi Bob, welcome!

I'm in northern mass, glad to have you aboard. Taken her out to any auto-cross to really test the handling?

Hi. I was considering Ebay to unload my stuff, but kind of concerned about the weight factor, books and magazines. Wouldn't it get expensive to ship? Haven't used Ebay so I don't quite know what the procedure is. Maybe I could go online and get some instructions. I was wondering if there is a local Z owner's club or group in Mass.. Haven't looked around the Forum too much, ( I'm on lunch break at work) as I don't have alot of time . Would be interested in local get-togethers with other Z owners, rallies, road trips, etc.EdeeZee-Yes, overpriced ! But that VW on steroids sound gets to me everytime!Well, gotta go. Thanks for the welcomes everybody!
