Not so new Z owner, mostly lurker

Hi, I'm Calvin from Chicago burbs.

I have a silver stock 2010 370Z base with sport. I've been lurking quite a bit off and on, but haven't had much time to really sit down and post.

I learned quite a bit from this site from the CSC failures to fuel starve, to Steering Lock fuse pull, to rear axle pop noise issue, and much much more.

I speak a little bit of Japanese too, okay not really, so kon-nichi-wa! :hello:

Welcome! or...not really, since you've been lurking...
Umm, well, hello! Yeah, that will do. Hello Calvin! I am Alphonso form the Frozen Fargo plains!

Thanks, and hello, fonzo! :D

Honestly, I've been wanting to post, but sometimes the arguments that goes on here is too much for me and I just shyed away.

Please go easy on this newbie. :D

:iagree: Excellent call! I did and still do the exact same thing when these guys get into Tech and Spec details. My thing was, I confessed my n00bness (as a cop-out :icon17:) then asked whatever was on my mind.

I lurked too, and found this forum to be a refuge for people from BMW, Jeep and Ford forums (hostile territory apparently). Join us in Word Association, and become friends with 1 or 2 of the Sponsors here. Pretty fun start points!

Good to hear from you. I agree, lots of that going on but really, the good far, far out weigh the bad in this forum. I go to Chicago twice a year and it's a great city. Enjoy!

Hi

C4Calvin 07-31-2013 02:05 PM

:hello: hi there!

C4Calvin 07-26-2017 05:50 AM

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for the warm welcomes back several years ago. I decided to trade in my 370Z last weekend to get a new Golf-R. I was always a German car fan so this was a natural move for me.

I really enjoyed my time with the Zed and lurking around this forum. :) I met a few of you locally in Chicago and it was a pleasure talking to you.

Thank you again.

A good friend of mine at work has a new Golf R and it is a great car. Love the look, performance and the bad-a$$ness of the car. His other car is a TT 350Z that he tracks/autoX's.

Even though you don't have a Z, you can still "hang" here.
