Hello fellow Z fans,
On 6-28-09 I purchased my first new Nissan. It being a 370Z,6mt,tour,sport,nav,blk w/gry leather. I did a lot of research when buying this car. Originally, I was in the market for a base model w/7spd auto. But after test driving the car I realized the paddle shifters just wasn't gonna suffice. The 6spd was a no brainer (more driving excitement for $1,300 less) not to mention resale value wise an auto is probably harder to sell in this type of car. I then began to rethink the options and decided I might regret not having everything. The navi at $1,850 seemed too expensive at first, however, it makes the interior look so much better plus the jukebox is awesome. Finally, the color choice, first I had to have the monterey blue but my wife convinced me to get black stating it would look like a gentleman's sportscar. So the search was on, none of the local nissan dealers had this particular car. I live in New York approx. 1hr north of the city. I did a daily dealer inventory search and located my car in E.Providence,RI. (190 miles from my home) I placed a phonecall to the dealer on a Sunday and negotiated a price over the phone ($3,500 below window sticker) 4 hours later i was driving it home with a big grin.

I love it, I'm still babying it during the break in . I have about 800 miles on it so far. where I live there are plenty of country roads with twisties so for now I'm getting a rush from its great handling aspect, can't wait to rev this badboy. thanks for the reply.
