Just saying hello from Ohio

Hello. I am new to this forum, I have been casually lurking for a few months. I am not a Z owner at this time. I currently own a 2011 Camaro LS that has spent its life in the shop a bit longer than I am comfortable with. I test drove a base Z the other day and I think I found my next car. I plan on spending more time here to see what you guys have to say.

Hi

I have a base Z and love it. Since you care about maintenance, FWIW, I just sold my '04 350z at 82k miles and other than a few odds and ends, the car was rock solid. No engine, tranny, drivetrain, or electrical issues of any significance.

Wel-come aboard ... :hello:

Welcome. Also I'd look at the sport package if I was you assuming you can afford it. You'll get better brakes and SRM assuming a MT.

Welcome aboard. Put the LS to pasture and get on board on a Z. +1 on the Sport package. Lot's of great guys to share stories with and learn from with very little to no drama. I go to Ohio quite a bit -- work -- Columbus, OH

Welcome! :hello:
Opt for a Z with at least the sports package. Unless you want to add mods for bigger brakes, body kit/spoiler, better looking (IMO) wheels, etc later. The difference of $2-$3K in the cars (base vs base+sports) adding in the SyncroMatch is well worth the cost.

Either way, I hope you enjoy every minute of it!
