Overjoyed with my new 370 Roadster

Old muscle car/street rod/sports car fanatic just bought a new 370Z Roadster Touring in Black Cherry with Bordeaux soft top. I have owned or driven just about everything (except the high end exotics). Have had Austin Healey's with big v8's, Sprites with 215 Buick v8, Miatas with race suspensions and turbos/superchargers, 1930 Ford hot rod, 1932 Ford hot rod, 1939 Ford hot rod and recently a 1940 Ford hot rod. All with over 400HP. Bought a Roush Mustang Convertible and just getting too old to do all the shifting anymore. So.....I sold the Roush and bought this Z! All I can say is wow! What a car. A little difficult in the ingress/egress but what a car. This thing has more power than I thought and handles almost as good as some of my track cars. Why I never considered one of these in the past is a mystery. I just cant stop saying wow! I am 69 years old and just thought my street rods were the bomb. I now have a new bomb!

I think that's the hottest color combo on the roadster.
Congrats on the purchase and enjoy (which seems redundant).

Love this story. I too have historically been a die hard muscle car man. There was something about this car I just fell in love with. I am 3 months into mine and loving it. Congratulations and enjoy!

I just love that the man is almost 70 and loves driving fast!

Not always fast, but nice to know its there when you need it. My rods have a 427 and 406 big block Ford respectively and they are more torque than rev but they will surprise even some of the newer cars. Love to shock the Mustang boys with an old 40 Ford Coupe running a 427. But this Z is simply amazing. I love the twisties in the Hill Country (used to be a SCCA racer in my past life) and this car delivers all that I was looking for in a newer car. I can drive fast but dont very often. I will leave that to you younger immortals. I have put 5 out of 6 children through college and now its time for ME!
