waiting for my new nismo

Hello,
I decided to trade in my 2006 350z to a 2012 370z nismo. Ordered one from my local dealer waiting for the new ride! I've already found this site to be very informative. I'll be looking out for those "spacers" that come attached to the shocks and be watchful for any oil temp. issues (although it should be fine as it will be a daily driver)

Joined this site a year ago but haven't been active until now. So I thought i'd reintroduce myself!

Welcome! I just got rid of my 2004 350Z and will be getting a 2013 Nismo!! Great minds think alike!!

Just got it today! Z34 13 0484 (One of those 2012's with a "13")

First Impressions: This thing is so sweet! I absolutely love the SRM. On the drive home sometimes I would accidentally rev match on the downshift even though I didn't have too. I need to stop that as I plan on leaving SRM on. The car didn't have those shock "spacers" on so the dealer did a nice job taking those off.

I know a lot of people complain about the clutch feel but it feels completely fine to me. In fact it feels exactly the same as the 350z I traded in so maybe i've already been "trained" on this clutch. My first car was a CRX then a prelude all manual trans. I remember going from the prelude to the 350z and thinking the clutch was a little weird but I didn't think much of it. I actually prefer the "linear" feel of the clutch. Suspension is quite stiff but not uncomfortably stiff.

Some very very small things that were missing that my 350 had: Gas door release button inside the interior, integrated homelink buttons on the rear view mirror, no longer have access to a HUGE glove box behind the seat.

Some very very large things that I didn't have before: 350hp engine, sweet *** rims, very tight body kit, more trunk space (I no longer have that stupid strut bar) too many to list....

Overall I'm extremely happy with my purchase. This is one bad *** mother****ing ride!

an elderly woman complimented my car, she didn't know what kind it was but said it reminded her of her brother's datsun 240z back in the day. :)

Wheres the gas door switch? I miss the huge glove compartment too when i test drove the 370 i was like this is all it has for storage that little glove box!

Did you make sure they took the spring holder clip things off on the front springs? It seems like all dealers are forgetting to take them off and people have like no spring compression travel on the front springs
