Considering a 2011 stripped down coupe -Nav help!

Hi!! I have a 2009 Nissan Altima, lease is up in Aug but am DYING to turn it in early and get something fun. Dealer called yesterday and they have an early lease termination program so went and looked at a 2011 370Z (red) that they have for sale ($30,488 - they tell me this is a great deal). I love it except it isn't the Touring and doesn't have Nav (my top priority). Looks like I can put in an after market Nav system no problem, but all the posts I've seen look to be for the 2009 model. Just checking which unit(s) are recommended for the 2011 AND hope to confirm that the steering wheel controls can be integrated. Thanks in advance!!!! :tiphat:

PS - I've previously had a BMW Z3, Z4 and Audi TT - went to the Altima for a change of pace but realized I missed my fun cars too much!

Welcome! The Z you are looking at (2011, red) is a good choice. ;)

As for the aftermarket head unit, there are plenty of options if you search, many people go with Kenwood.

If you check the audio/visual thread of this site, you should be able to find a lot of threads answering those questions.

Also, you can check this thread: http://www.the370z.com/north-east-re...e-know-21.html of user Bigaudiofanat he does various audio builds, and im sure he can direct you in the specific equipment you need. Just shoot him a pm, and im sure he can answer you as soon as possible, or he may see this thread and chime in.

Good luck! and use the search function! :tiphat:

Thank you, thank you!! I will check that thread. Had only done a Google search and it came up with the thread on the 2009 Z.

If you want to make your life easier just get the Touring.

fyi, my dealer paid off 2 months off my X5 to get me off the lease! They usually push more when it is a different brand of car.
I got a sports 2012 for $31,500 plus tax. At that price get a new one, I used 100% Haggle-Free New Car Price Quotes from Local Dealers - TrueCar to start negotiating with the dealer.
