TOP tearing on 370Z Roadster
 

I have a problem that others seem to share. I have a 2010 370Z Roadster that is wearing holes in the top. There are five (5) crossbars supporting the top and my dealer is telling me that the factory only put protective pads on the furthermost (by the windsheild) crossbar and the other four (4) crossbars are unprotected. I have been researching this and am unable to verify this info. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
