New servicemember to the forum living in Japan

Hello Z enthusiasts!! I have been living on the island of Okinawa in Japan for the past 7 years. Uncle Sam is sending me back to the states, and I have decided to purchase a Z when I get back and settled. I will be returning the spring of 2012. I was wondering if the members of this forum could give me a heads up on what type of parts that are easier acquired while in Japan vs in the states. To narrow the field of parts a bit, I plan on purchasing a Nismo Z (though the wife will be the deciding factor on whether it will be new or used). I appreciate any and all replies. Thank you for this forum and allowing me to aspire to own a Z while drooling over all of your sweet rides!!:tiphat:

Take a look at japanparts.com. They have some great parts that are only available there.

Thanks for your service.

Wheels and Body Kits are the most time consuming part to get to the states. So take a peek around shops while youre there and pick up your wheels there if you can, then let ol' Uncle Sam foot the bill to ship them stateside.

Welcome to the forum fellow brother in arms. :usa:
