Newbie and prospective z owner!!

Hi Z drivers,
My name is Jimmy and I guess I am the new guy here. I just recently picked up a new position at a Nissan dealership in Fontana as the performance parts specialist. I'm new to forums but not new to Nissans. I've own several Nissan cars in the past during the whole drifting craze including three S13's and one S14. Everyday when I pull into the lot, the first thing that I see is a line of beautiful new 370 Z's. I must say that I am very captivated by the looks and I am contemplating on purchasing one for myself. Has anyone here ever made the transition from a S13/S14 to a Z? I remember my S14 being a very nimble car and was really easy to handle and control in tight turns on the mountain pass with just a set of coilovers. Is the new Z everything and some? What do you think?

~Jimmy

Can I have your S13?

I had a stock S13 coupe that I (stupidly) sold to finance the Z. Don't remember it very well because I basically had it as a project and did not drive it around a lot.

Scott:rofl!
phelan: I got rid of my s13 a few years back to fund a s2000.lol. I didn't drive mines much either. I built it for road racing and only took it to the track and mountains every now and then. Not the most comfortable daily driver when you're sitting in a sparco with no interior, sound deadening, and a/c.haha.Now I miss it and will probably get one as a project in the future.
