Hi everyone! My name is David and I'm currently looking to purchasing a 370Z. I test drove it and let me say I fell in love. Especially coming from the S2000 that has enormous torque lol! I'm currently home on leave from Iraq and will purchase it before I come back. I saw the invoice pricing thread and that was very useful. I'm also on S2KI which has been to me more family than community. I'm looking into Pearl White with the sport package. It's my understanding that the persimmon is only available in the touring package which is unfortunate but I can't justify spending more on just an interior. Also I had a question. Is the engine that prevalent to over heat on the track? I was reading a review and it said that once it goes into "limp mode" it won't rev past 6500 until oil temps go down. I plan to hit Pocono raceway in July and several auto-x events so if need be I would install an oil cooler. Thanks in advance and I'm excited to learn as much as I can

Welcome from another previous s2k owner and s2ki member! You will love this car :D I am tracking it in may and will have a better idea of how the car works at the track with temps. GL

Hi Zeto,

The temps appear to be borderline with auto-x, they reach 260-270 after a run but will go back to normal before you run again (unless maybe you get a re-run).

At the track an oil cooler will be a must.
