Hey guys, love the info on this forum, especially the pricing stuff. I have been considering the 370Z and I plan to "reward myself" with one in the summer. Just need to get this engagement ring hammered away first! I used to own a 90 300ZX and loved it. Now that I'm older (and wiser) :icon17:, I plan to get back in the Z soon.

Welcome aboard! What options are you looking to buy with your 370Z? And congrats on the perspective engagement!

I definitely want PG 6spd and still undecided about the Sports pkg. I know it's a great value, and I do like the Rays wheels. I guess I'll have to dwell on that for a while. I'm done with modding cars so the wheels that come with are the wheels that I'll stay with. Bigger brakes...hmmmm I'm sure the base model brakes stop well too. Ahhhh the early stages of contemplating...

And if things go south with the girl then I'll have a bigger down payment and I'll get the touring +sports +nav!:tup:

The base model brakes will stop you just fine on the street, they are essentially same brakes that were in my G35S which I gave quite a beating at the auto-cross. The bigger brakes give you more capacity for repeated high-speed stopping such as at a HPDE track day. Although the brakes seem kind of pointless given that you are going to overheat in two laps anyway :p

I guess it depends on your intentions with the car. For less than $3000 the sport package seems a good deal. Plus as a bonus you get the SRM which is a cool feature.

I say the biggest reason for the sport package is the SRM, everything else you could technically buy after market, but SRM is a nice feature (if you plan on using it).
