Wow. Six months. Long wait. That'll give lots of time here to research. Welcome to the site.

Wrenise 01-13-2011 07:34 AM

Correct.

I ordered a US Spec since I will be returning to the states in a couple of years. Alreday looking into getting the foglight installed. Looking at the MOD or just going to Nissan here and getting a new BCM with the fog switch for the authentice factory look. Since the harness is already in the car.

AND, most importantly....

THE AUTOBAHN.

How can you not enjoy just the thought of no speed limit.

Sibze 01-13-2011 12:37 PM

Welcome!! And I hate that you will be able to take the Z on the Autobahn!!!

Update:

Just got my factory order number from Nissan. Now just waiting for the email on the assembly date.

Hi :)

How come it takes so long for you to get your 370Z? Are you going for some specific options?

I'm sure the wait will be worthwhile though :)

Sibze 01-24-2011 12:46 PM

:iagree: I thought German's were fast :roflpuke2:

I have to order factory direct US spec. The euro spec 370z costs around 15-20k more and I can't bring it back to the states with me. The dealer here only places direct orders with Nissan. So I have to wait for it to be manufactured then shipped to Germany from the US.

goten morgin :)

welcome on baord. trust me its worth the waiting.

That makes sense. I advise you to go on lots of test drives between now and the time you get your Z ;)

Paul,

I need to find a way to convert the Nav to work in EUR. Is the NAV HDD based in EUR? I cant seem to find a whole lot of info the EUR Spec 370.

The newer Navs are HDD. In the UK (at least) the early ones are DVD-based.

You can find the UK spec information here (there are 2 sticky posts at the top of that section with the 2009 & 2010 spec cars).

You will find the US PDF manuals on here but I've not been able to find any UK ones unfortunately (if anyone can help that would be great!)

I imagine the Navs might be coded to individual cars so you may need to get Nissan to recode it to your car if you change them over.

Hopefully, you will just need to ask Nissan to load the EU maps on the Nav you have though.

Update: car was scheduled to built 2/10/11. Just waiting for VIN and then delivery.

Paul_S 02-12-2011 03:16 AM

Cool!

Wrenise 02-12-2011 05:41 AM

Yea, browsing the forums and reading how people love their car is depressing. I can't wait for it to get here.

Wrenise 03-07-2011 05:06 PM

The wait is unbearable.

Another update:

Nissan declared my vehicle destroyed.

Delearship is offering me a 2011 Touring Sport w/ NAV in Monteray Blue with Perm interior.

Or - an Audi S4.

Decisions Decisions.
