Hey, new guy. Undecided for the most part.

I've become extremely interested in the 370z but I can't quite decide on what model to get. Eventually I'll quit arguing with myself and choose. I'll let you guys know. :)

Anyway, greetings from TX.

Welcome. what ever model you go with make sure to spend the extra 3k and get the sport package. Its so worth it. All the extras you get would be well over 3k if you added them later.

:hello: Welcome!

Welcome, well what are you looking for and plan to do with this car?
Want some luxury items, purely performance, plan to modify the car?

Good tip. It would be hard to pass up on the sport package. :)

That's part of my debate. I've always leaned towards performance when it comes to any car but I certainly want some luxury. Leather seats and Nav are very appealing to me since I've had neither in my previous cars. I think any major upgrades would come further down the road so I'd mainly focus on the standard bolt-ons [intake, headers, exhaust] for the more immediate future.

He's Houston too. MANCRUSH!!!! :superghey:

Keep in mind that if you want leather/heat(in tx?)/power(2 seater?) then it comes with Bose. Nav is an upgrade from there. If you don't want Bose and plan on going with an aftermarket HU/Nav then you might want to look into getting seats after the fact. They get sold from time to time when people make their Z's into straight racecars and sometimes for other reasons.

More good things to consider. I don't think I'm going to mess with the stereo so the stock setup should be fine. I've also been hearing good things about the stock navi system.

I think the part of me that wants to go fast is fighting with the part of me that wants shiny toys. Grrr. :)

Thanks for all the info guys. I appreciate it.

The touring isn't going to be any slower in day to day driving.... So get your goodies and enjoy the speed as well.

CrownR426 09-24-2010 04:47 PM

Hello!
I recommend you getting the Base + Sports Package atleast!!!!

For some reason I was thinking it was slightly heavier and perhaps slower in straight line acceleration. If its not then I may seriously consider the touring/sport.

Of course, that 40th is pretty nice too. Anyone know if they're getting hard to find now-a-days? :)
