Convertible top not working
 

Hi all, need some help with a 10 day old new Z. The top does not go back up. Nothings happening with the clutch pushed in, brake on, push the button and nothing. I can exit the car, push and hold the exterior door lock button and hear a motor cycling for a few seconds and then nothing. The truck is closed and still nothing. Anyone have a clue.............???

Had it happen to me when I had spent all day waxing the car with the radio on. Had to start it and drive it to charge up the battery. Then it went up with no problem.

So it may be a weak battery.

Battery is fully charged.... wife has been driving it today. I have tried to manually put it up and the pull cables in the truck will not unlock it hatch either. When we first took it home, one of the cylinders popped off it's ball joint and the hatch would not open correctly but it would at least open. It was not a big deal and has been working fine since then. Only last night it would not go down, so I was able to put it up and down from the door switch only. Now I put it back down the same way this afternoon and it still can not go back up. looks like I'll have to bring it to the dealership unless some one can help.
