Help deciding on color of Z

I am new to the370z.com, but i have been on here before, well many times to look at everyones cars! But now it is time i buy my own, i am buying it by the end of July. My decision has came down to, a Yellow 2009 370z fully loaded, or the blue 2009 370z fully loaded. Price is $39,500 OTD, since their 2009's the dealer is giving me a great deal. Please give me your guys' opinion!

Not sure what trim you are going with, but that OTD price seems a little high? (not sure what AZ sales tax is). You should be able to get an '09 for at least $1k under invoice.

That said, both are great colors. ;)

I look at it two ways...

Personally, I will never own a yellow car, so there's a vote for blue.

However, if you're into it, the yellow is less common, since it was only offered in '09. That's a vote for yellow.

Either way, it's a gorgeous car. Best of luck!

Definitely get Yellow. It's the best Sports car color imo.

Maybe pricing works differently out where you live but if I am not mistaken, your dealer is not giving you a very good deal at all. Im assuming these Zs are neither 40th Anniversary nor Nismo models. Further, they are 09s. Hopefully one of the dealers on our forum will chime in, but I am going to predict they will tell you that you can do better. How much on the odometer for both?

Jeffblue 06-01-2010 04:03 PM

out the door i paid 40,981 for a fully loaded 6mt 2010. you are getting an 09 for 1481 less OTD. i think you could get a better deal. i paid 37500 before any Tax/title etc. i'm in NY so 8.075%... or something close to that.

The deal is for.. Touring with sport, with navi with illuminated kickplates mats splash gaurds and everything. sticker price is $41,800 so 39 OTD (with tax) is pretty good no?

desiconceptx 06-02-2010 12:07 PM

sorry, but the odometer miles..blue has 12 and the yellow has 16

Jeffblue 06-02-2010 04:39 PM

my car had 16 on the odo when i picked it up. for a 2009 i think 1000 off isn't really that great of a deal. I paid invoice dead on for a 2010 fully loaded with the same exact package (just different colors) But hey, if its the car you want, then go for it. It is still a new car, its just one model year older. Keep in mind that you are paying almost as much as i got my 2010 for, and in a few months, there will be a 2011.

regarding the color. IF i was gonna get a 09, i'd want the one color they only made in 09, (yellow) So i think you should get the yellow.

I agree with the other posts that seems a little high for the 09.
once you drive it off the lot its really a 2 year old car 09/10.
anyway got my 09 may 1st. had 25 miles on it dealer came down 4500
off msrp. plus the blue is faster then the yellow!

...Corvette's look good in yellow.

frost 06-14-2010 07:24 PM

That's not even as good of a deal as the one I got on my 09 when 09s were brand-spanking new.
