SOCAL-new guy...had some questions
Hey guys/gals i recently joined this forum because I'm currently in the market for a 370z but I had a couple of questions before i take the plunge...
So today I visited my nearest dealer and fell in love with the 40th anniversary 370z...I was able to haggle the price from 39,800 to 35,530 + fees....is that pretty much the furthest they will go or have any other members gotten it for cheaper? If i decide to take the 40th anni 370z, would aftermarket parts or even nismo parts come pre-painted for me in that "so-called" special edition graphite paint or would i have to take it to a body shop to get it paint matched? I've read through many threads and realized the paint quality is quite horrible and many people use a clear bra to protect their paint. Would that really be necessary for socal weather/roads? I live in OC so most of the roads are well kept and I constantly make trips to LA.... Thanks everyone! |
Mine was slightly under 35K but that was with employee discount VPP program. So, 35.5K sounds like a great deal to me. I would like to know myself about the paint matching cuz I love the Nismo wing.

hmm well that is true...my current ride, acura tsx, is pretty slammed and i've had many instances where I bottomed out on the freeway, esp the 10 -_-.. is it just me or does it seem like there are a lot of 40th anniversary z's available...it seems more common than a simple black on black base w/ sport pckg... |
You have to paint match additional parts. I dropped mine off the day after I got it for the clear bra. I think it's worth the money, especially since after doing so I've read the same posts about paint chips.
