New to the forum
Hello my name is Robert and I am not an alcoholic or drug addict but I am very much into Z cars. On February 8, 2010 was driving home from work @ 45 mph in my second 06 Mag Blk 350Z when a young lady in a Pathfinder decided to violently end my forward progress. Needless to say the car was totaled and I was pretty bummed. Now being faced with the prospect of a new car I looked at a million options but I always kept going back to the car that I have always loved. I have owned now 11 different models of Z's(multiples of a few of course) so the Z is not all new to me. I Looked at a buch of 370s and was pretty determined to get another black one but after I decided to "live a little" I got a Black Cherry Sport...I love the car and look forward to conversing about it on this forum.

Blackcherry is a great color, congrats on the new ride.
Edit: Not seeing any pictures. :( |
Pictures updated, sorry

Car looks good, both 350 (before the crash) & 370, and you are in Texas. :D
|
I am, I live in Carrollton, like to start going to some meets again this summer
|
There are definitely some good DFW guys on here, and I randomly get up to that area when they have a good meet.
|
Are you down south? I need to check out the meet boards here.
|
welcome :hello:
you missed a good meet on March 6th up in Allen. Had a few drive in from Houston, and there were around 10ish 370's there with about 6 of us from the boards. Love the color btw! |
Thank you, where do you post your meets on here?

Perfect, thanks Caravanshaka

I am in Houston, but to drive to Dallas is only a few hours and is a nice drive.
Houston to Austin can be a little rough currently as they are redoing some of the roads and it is bad. |

Please let me know how the CAI is? Just put a Nismo shift knob on but I have been looking for a CAI and I want to get the most bang for my buck..
Thats interesting on the Canadian models, I did not know you did not as much of choice as we do..Mine is essentially a base with the entire sport package, lit sills, 19" rays, spoliers and air dams, VDC, rev match, all the bells and whistles just short of the touring.. |
FYI, I am going with the Gen II CAI (let the flames begin) as I want the engine to SOUND more inspiring... the Gen III has way more power but doesn't sound as good. As this is primarily my wife's car, she doesn't need extra horses! I will probably go Gemini (Invidia) exhaust and ERZ HFC's too which will give a lot of extra HP along with the better sound.
The parts should be here soon, so I will let you know how it goes! |
Thanks wheee! Need to have good input before I drop the coin
