Hello New Here
Hello,
I have owned almost every model Z since I began to drive in 1990. I had several 280's including the best 1983 model with Turbo and Dig Dash. Also: 1985 300ZX Turbo 1988 300ZX I have owned 3 1984 50th Anniversary cars. Restoring one of them back in 1995 when I worked for Nissan. Cost me over $20,000. I ended up selling it for only $5,500. I learned my lesson about Japanese cars. They rarely appreciate. However a good restored Anniversary sells for $25k+ nowadays. Beautiful body on the 84-85 models with Turbo scoupe. They don't handle well though. And after driving the 350Z for so long it is impossible to be happy with the old styles driving capabilities. I had a 1992 300ZX Twin Turbo Black/Black 5 speed. I sold on EBay last summer. That was a retail car when I owned a car dealership. The economy shut me down unfortunately last year. In 2007 I bought a low mileage 2003 350Z. Blk/Blk Touring. I put 18 inch black RPM rims with chrome lip + Falken tires. The car was reborn. It really rode well compared to the stock 17's. I put spacers on the rear for staggered look. Bought online for $1100 with tires. Very good deal. Windows tinted of course. Lots of rotor problems though and lots of road noise from tires. Upgraded exhaust. I found an aftermarket exhaust for half the price of the OEM plus a hrspwr increase. Sounded better as well. I test drove a 2010 370 Touring a week ago. I will buy one shortly. Much better then the 350Z. But road noise was also there :( I found the invoice info listed here to be a big help. I want to buy one at invoice. Hope to learn more about the 370 from the owners on this forum. Cheers! |
